Broad Oak                                                                                                                   Two locations can be found at Broad Oak. The first is the garage where Greg and Jenny first meet the children, and the second is a lay-by where they find the school minibus. The garage can be found on the left hand side of the B4521 just before the turning on the left to Welsh Newton (OS sheet 161 GR SO481213) . The lay-by can be found a short distance from the garage on the right heading towards Skenfrith.

Ripple Old Railway Station.                                                                                                 This was the location used for Lincolns house. Greg, Jenny, Abby and the children stayed for a while at Lincolns house, but left when they realised Lincoln was unstable. The Old Railway Station can be found near the old railway bridge (OS sheet 150 GR SO871377). Leave the village with the phone box on your left and just before the railway bridge is the driveway to the old station. This is private property, but if you continue over the bridge, then turn left you may (during winter months) be able to see the station through the trees and hedges surrounding it.
